The Novel Coronavirus has changed the way businesses are operating including Plumbers Local 24 and I.E. Shaffer. We have rotated the staff in the building to limit the exposure and transmission of the virus. All claims checks and withdrawals will still be processed. It may take a little longer than normal for a response, so please have some patience in this regard.
On Thursday, March 12, 2020 Plumbers Local 24 had a trustee meeting and it was decided to shut down our school until further notice. We are looking at doing some remote classes for the apprentices to complete their school year. We have closed the building to everyone except the staff which will be working normal business hours of 7-4:30 Monday through Friday.
If you are laid off and need to sign the out of work list please send an EMAIL info@plumbers24.org include your name, cell phone number, contractor and your last day of work. You can not send the email until you are actually laid off or you will not be put on the out of work list. Please continue to pay your monthly union dues which are due BEFORE 5pm on the last business day of the month. Checks or money orders can be mailed or put in the mail slot to the left of the front door, or you may pay with a credit/debit card on the phone app ISAQR. Please follow the CDC’s guidance and government guidelines.
